Yew Hoe has been in practice for over 27 years. As the tax partner of Crowe Horwath, he oversees all tax matters including tax advisory and tax planning services in respect of domestic taxes, corporate restructuring, public listing, due diligence exercises, takeovers, mergers and international tax. He also undertakes numerous tax investigation and field audit assignments.
Yew Hoe is the Chairman of the International Tax Committee of Crowe Horwath International. He presently serves on the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) as a council member and a member of its Tax Practice Committee. He is also a council member of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM) and chairs the committee that publishes the annual Budget Commentary and Tax Information booklet jointly for MICPA, the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and CTIM. Yew Hoe also contributes to the CCH International Tax Planning Manuals on corporations, and expatriates and migrants which are distributed worldwide on a subscription basis. He is a regular speaker at professional seminars on tax-related issues.
