Yuen Lok is the Regional Executive, Asia Pacific of Crowe Horwath International. He also oversees the network of Crowe Horwath offices in Malaysia. He has been involved in the accounting profession for over 20 years and his professional experience spans multinational audits, cross-border due diligences, business valuations, initial public offerings, corporate turnarounds, receiverships and liquidations. He was also involved in assignments with Danaharta (Malaysia’s asset management company) during the Asian financial crisis and had managed a NPL portfolio in excess of RM1 billion.
Yuen Lok currently sits as audit committee chairman of two public listed companies. He is also the Honorary Secretary of Hospis Malaysia, a not-for-profit charitable organisation which offers palliative care for those diagnosed with life-threatening conditions. He is also actively involved in the Malaysian chapters of Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) and Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and had previously held several board positions. Yuen Lok is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA)
